was this what life felt like? her first breath was weird; as if it were a big gulp of water that didn't exist. second came a yawn, which made her squeal. the pup's instinct was to just get something in her stomach, and the warm sensation of her mother's stomach was welcoming. instinctively, she nudged her way over to feed.

it was windy, with loose dirt and dead leaves rolling like dead tumbleweeds across the area. three months felt like an eternity in the clan; and the black wolf-dog mix was eager to see more. she imagined if there was a world outside of the one all the animals had made; her future. her home glistened in her murky, orange eyes.
helena furiously chased down a leaf she managed to grasp, but it flew out of reach. "ugh," she groaned, while she ran with her four paws flying all over the place. she hadn't really seen or talked to many people; they were all just simple "hellos," or greetings when they passed. it was boring doing everything by herself. she needed company.

what the title says :>
she's open to many things except rape, murder, kidnapping, or long term relationship.if you have any ideas feel free to ask !
-
her ears hadn't grown up to become straight yet, so they kind of just flopped around. the leaf was long gone by now, and instead, replaced by another mutt. "hi!" helena greeted cheerfully, her mind completely erased about the dead plant. "i'm helena. nice to meet you," she barked, trying to be polite. "yeah, i am. and apparently my dad is william, but i haven't seen him yet." the topic about william was shrugged off, because she thought he was on vacation or something.

sure to both! who makes the thread?

so many new faces! it was hard to keep track. one of them was her apparent sibling, nearlykit. they hadn't really met formally. "hi nearlykit! i'm helena. it's nice to meet one of my sisters!" or half, depending. honestly, the whole family tree thing was confusing for both the player and helena. "i like your tails," she added cheerfully. it was kind of like a meet and greet! helena was enjoying this very much, even though her player planned for her to be gloomy and serious.
then a cute little kitten came up. "hello! nice to meet you, john. is that short for jonathan? or jonjon? nevermind," she babbled. how did people not find this aggravating? "feli! such a nice name," the young pup howled, stomping her two front paws on the ground.
-
helena sat outside, enjoying the view. she was still enjoying the beauty of everything through her naive, orange eyes. the pup squealed as the sun rose, turning hues of pink and orange throughout the sky. she woke up especially early, and tried her hardest not to piss off her mom. she'd been going through a lot, apparently. she could use the sleep, even after three months of not giving birth.

here it is, dream
-
helena felt as if there was something on between them; but she couldn't tell what. she was still pretty stupid, after all. "you guys are like, cute." she yipped. oh, another newcomer. "i'm doing greeaaaaat!" helena yowled, panting in her direction. "how are you on this wonderful day?"
-
this little pup had other plans. helena, who was awfully focused on getting to know everyone, searching for either danny or near. they were her blood; and they should be closer than ever. however, even she was doubting herself. what if both her siblings hated her? worry started to fill up in her chest, and the kid became worried with fear. all she wanted was to feel accepted. her thoughts were getting to her. helena abruptly got up and shot to the nursery to get some sleep; until abruptly bumping into nearlykit.
-
ooh, a joiner! although helena wasn't really suppose to be out here, and her mom would kick her ass, she still thought it would be fun. see? it was worth it. "she sounds nice. let her join!" the pup whined. the whole story of her family was a bit vague; the wolf dog wasn't exactly the brightest.
-
"hey danny." helena barked excitedly. she also was pleased to see her dad. "aren't we enemies with bloodclan?" she heard some of the people called them "cannibalistic savages." oh well. "can i see him anytime soon? i wonder what he looks like."
-
the fluffy pup whirled around to see dreampaw. "it's really pretty out. i wish i could have this memory forever in my head!" she yipped, watching the different hues disperse into the sky. "i'm helena, but you can call me whatever you'd like." she'd never really had a nickname.
-
"i want to visit what it's like there, and if the animals are like us," helena hummed. aliens were real; they couldn't possibly be the only the on earth. except for humans, obviously. "yeah, if i manage to wake up early enough. dad's been doing a lot lately, because other dad left him."

-
"i wonder what he'll think about us," she quipped, unsure of her feelings towards him. i mean; nothing is closer than blood, right? danny seemed pretty enthusiastic about it too. the wolf dog pup just ignored her feelings of doubt back into the dark pit of her heart.
-
more people to meet! "i'm helena," the small pup yawned, bounding over to where the small group was huddled.
-
drinking? no wonder he'd been acting so unusually. slobberish, more loose, and kind of sloppy in general. "and he turned his back on us to get his ass to bloodclan." helena muttered, scowling slightly. it was more grief than anything; how could he? what could thunderclan have done to make him kill himself and move to an enemy clan?
-
the only way she knew was from dad; and honestly, she'd never seen william before. it wasn't much of a topic for the three month old, as she didn't exactly understand all of the mess clearly. "we should throw a little party with all of his friends, or make a gift basket. something to show him that we're there for him." helena offered. especially with him being in such a fragile state, she didn't want to plan something that would overwhelm her father too much.

an ant could probably notice that something was up with nos. it probably wasn't a smart idea to go to the group; but how could she not? it was her father and some other people who she'd met before. "dad? do you need anything?" helena was informed that her dad had been drinking and becoming more than unhappy lately. it was upsetting to her that this was what it had come to. the canine's mind was confused. was she angry? disappointed? sympathetic? or all of the above? without saying anything more, she just decided to take a seat near feli.
